Cheryl L. Crozier Receives ASQ-Certification

Congratulations to Cheryl L. Crozier, R.N., Senior Survey Specialist for QRRO on her certification as an ASQ-Certified Quality Auditor (ASQ CQA). This indicates a proficiency in and a comprehension of quality auditing tools, techniques and practices in her job and career. We are pleased that one of our staff will be representing us and know that her experience and education will serve us well. This is a great accomplishment which represents a high level of peer recognition.

Striving for excellence in quality research is of utmost importance to our survey. Ms. Crozier will apply a variety of auditing techniques in examining, comparing, and evaluating products, processes and quality systems to specific standards.

With this certification she may apply team/project management skills (scheduling resources, conducting effective meetings) using appropriate tools and methodologies to verify, document, and communicate audit results and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective action/follow-up. With her strong leadership role, she will train the QRRO Clinical Abstractor team the quality development skills in data collection.

We are proud of her success and know that this appointment will bring her much personal and professional satisfaction.

About Cheryl Crozier, R.N.

Cheryl Crozier is the chief person responsible for site visits and data collection, preparing the survey manual and training material, conducting site visits, and coordinating other surveyors. She comes to QRRO from ACRIN where she has been the Sr. Quality Control Auditor and has run their auditing and monitoring function since early 2003. She has extensive experience in quality assurance and data collection. She will be requesting feedback from you about our IRB / HIPAA compliance plans, the survey manual and training materials.
